It’s official! Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network’s Provider Secured Services and web-DENIS will have their last day of operation on June 21, 2022. Beginning June 22, these tools will be retired and no longer available.
Don’t worry. Making the move to Availity Essentials is easy. Here are the steps Blue Cross recommends. We encourage you to take these steps now — before Provider Secured Services and web-DENIS close their doors.
Register
If you’re not already registered with Availity, do so now. Here’s how:
Select an Availity administrator (This individual must register your organization on Availity.) Resources include:

Set up users
Once registered, your Availity administrator can add users and set up their user roles.
Set up e-referral and Health e-Blue℠
The Availity administrator must also set up access to the e-referral and the Health e-Blue tools.
Train
Whether you’re already familiar with Availity or you’re a new user, take advantage of the webinars and recordings available to help you quickly find the Blue Cross and BCN information you need. Use the Get Up to Speed with Training website to find the training you need.
